Terms of Service
AisleAlly is a free web app that checks grocery ingredient lists and restaurant menus against ingredient classes you choose to avoid. By using it you agree to these terms.
AisleAlly is an informational aid, not medical advice and not a safety guarantee. Its verdicts are estimates built from third-party data (product databases, photo transcription, and typical-recipe inference), and that data can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Products get reformulated. Menus change. Kitchens improvise.
Always defer to the physical label and to the restaurant's own answers. If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy, do not rely on AisleAlly; consult the manufacturer and your clinician.
The app is for personal, non-commercial use. Don't abuse it: automated bulk requests, attempts to bypass rate limits or bot protection, and use of the service to attack or overload it or its data providers are prohibited. We may throttle or block abusive traffic.
Tips given through Ko-fi or Stripe are voluntary, non-refundable payments in support of the app. They are not charitable donations (Probity Point Enterprises, LLC is not a charity and tips are not tax-deductible), and they purchase no goods, services, or features.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Probity Point Enterprises, LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including damages resulting from reliance on its verdicts.
We may modify or discontinue the service, or update these terms, at any time. Updated terms will be posted at this address with a new effective date; continued use after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
